Bridging the Gap: Students Leading Change
The Center for Transformative Action (CTA) is excited to launch Bridging the Gap, a platform where student-led initiatives take center stage in driving change. Our goal is to coach and support students as they develop their own innovative ideas to address challenges in their communities, leveraging CTA’s resources and guidance. These initiatives are diverse, reflecting the unique passions of our students—from organizing educational workshops to creating networking opportunities with industry leaders.
A great example is our recent collaboration with the International Business Association (IBA), where students spearheaded an industry leaders’ panel in April 2024. This event brought together executives and managers to connect with students, facilitating learning and professional growth through meaningful networking opportunities. Events like this demonstrate how CTA provides the structure and coaching students need to turn their ideas into impactful projects, ensuring they leave a lasting legacy.

Beyond events, Bridging the Gap continues to expand with student-driven projects focused on mentorship, social advocacy, and skill-building. Each initiative nurtures student leadership while fostering a sense of community impact and personal growth. Through these efforts, CTA remains committed to empowering students to lead meaningful change, reinforcing our core values of collaboration, social justice, and transformative action.
